Sick, sick, sick
Ah! Being sick sucks lemons! I tried to give a lesson to my computer class today and my voice got worse and worse. I don't want to go into work tomorrow but I don't want to lose anymore time. That and I don't want to write the lessons plans. Yuck major!

Not a happy camper
God. This has been a horrible weekend. Friday we had a field trip to Waihee Beach with the 8th graders which went really well. Our kids did a great job but man we were bushed when we came back. And we were only out 1/2 the day! Then it was straight home to post some homework. I could have done the timing but I made a commitment to help out Watanabe-san at his sushi place. I didn't even think of the fact that I was going to be posting. Straight back home after to finish posting. All the while feeling worse and worse.
And can you guess why I was feeling worse? I was coming down with the flu. I haven't been that sick in a long time. I don't remember when I have had such a high fever (101.1 degrees. kind of like the radio station) and it was pretty much all saturday too. Aches and hot and cold flashes. Talk about miserable.
Today is not so bad. No fever but my sinuses are stuffed and my throat hurts. And I have watery discharge from my ears. Probably from taking a bath to try and bring down the fever. but I had to put down my fish today. It had some bumps on it last week and when I talked to the guy at the pet shop he suggested I keep an eye on it and bring in some water in a couple of days. The last time I say it was on Friday and the sores didn't look any better. So I go to school today, even though I am not feeling the best, to check up on him. It wasn't good. The sores burst or were rubbed off and he wasn't swimming right. The lady at the pet shop pretty much gave him little chance of surviving because she didn't think he would be able to eat. Ah well. I really liked those fish.

The Goddess of Lateness is in the House
This is really cool. I think that I am going to have to try and keep this one going. I just thought of a personal use for this blog. My sister, whom I love dearly, never calls or writes home. She is on the east coast. However, she is a regular on my friends blogs. Maybe if I have a blog, she will write to me! Yay!
